Figure 1: We ran a test on 50 drawings using the usual process of opening
drawings manually and purging them of everything. We had a simple
lisp file for purging so this only meant typing in the letters PUR and
hitting enter. As you can see from the top figure that the CPU Usage
average was low with only six drawings purged in that time. Opening and closing
drawings wasted the most time.

Using Multi-Batch we were able to achieve a CPU Usage average of
over 90% and a total of 50 drawings purged in less time. These tests
apply across every operation in AutoCAD including batch plotting.
